NanoYield is a design-for-yield toolset that incorporates innovative algorithms and parallel technologies to speed up the
statistical simulation performance. Based on the high-accuracy and high-performance NanoSpice engine, NanoYield with
its Monte Carlo Advanced (MCA) technology and Monte Carlo Pro (MCP) technology can deliver 10 to over 100 times
speed-up over traditional Monte Carlo, and therefore greatly shortens statistical simulation time. With the High Sigma Pro
(HSP) technology licensed and validated by IBM , NanoYield boosts high-σ statistical simulation performance by orders of
magnitude, making it possible to predict the yield of repetitive structure circuits, such as memory, in which extremely small
cell failure rate is necessary however can not be predicted by practical Monte Carlo runs. NanoYield can be easily
integrated into an existing design flow, and predict yield in early design stages enabling designers to evaluate and optimize
the designs targeting to the optimum yield and performance tradeoff for competitive IC designs.
