Zhihong Liu, Ph.D., Executive Chairman
Dr. Zhihong Liu currently serves as the Executive Chairman of ProPlus Design Solutions, Inc.
He was most recently the Corporate Vice President for CSV R&D at Cadence Design Systems Inc.
Dr. Liu co-founded BTA Technology Inc. in 1993 and invented BSIMPro, the world's most leading
Spice modeling product. He also served as the president & CEO of BTA Technology Inc. and later
Celestry Design Technology Inc., which was acquired by Cadence in 2003.
Dr. Liu holds a Ph.D. degree in EE from the University of Hong Kong and co-developed the industry's first standard model (BSIM3) for IC designs as one of the main contributors at the University of California at Berkeley.
Chenming Hu
Dr. Hu is currently the TSMC Distinguished Chair Professor of Microelectronics at UC Berkeley.
He was the founding chairman of the Celestry Design Technology Inc and BTA Technology Inc.

Zhijian (James) Ma, Ph.D., President & CEO
Dr. James Ma currently serves as the President & CEO of ProPlus Design Solutions, Inc.
He was most recently the Senior Engineering Manager of the Modeling Service and Product
Engineering at Cadence Design Systems Inc. and previously also worked in other Silicon
Valley companies including Integrated Device Technology Inc. and Chrontel Inc. for over 15 years.
Dr. Ma holds a Ph.D. degree in EE from the University of Hong Kong and was a postdoctoral at the University of California at Berkeley from 1992 to 1994.
Yi (Bob) Xu, COO
Mr. Bob Xu currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of ProPlus Design Solutions, Inc.
He was most recently the Vice President of Products Marketing at Cadence Design Systems Inc.
and previously also served as the VP of International Operations in Celestry Design Technology
Inc. and BTA Technology Inc. for more than 10 years. Mr. Xu founded RevoSys Inc. in 2007 which
was merged into ProPlus Design Solutions Inc. in 2008.
Mr. Xu holds a M.B.A. degree from Cornell University.
Bruce McGaughy, Ph.D., CTO & Sr. VP of Engineering
Dr. Bruce McGaughy currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of
Engineering of ProPlus Design Solutions, Inc. He was most recently the Chief Architect of Simulation
Division and Distinguished Engineer at Cadence Design Systems Inc. Dr. McGaughy previously also served
as a R&D VP at BTA Technology Inc. and Celestry Design Technology Inc., and later an Engineering Group
Director at Cadence Design Systems Inc.
Dr. McGaughy holds a Ph.D. degree in EECS from the University of California at Berkeley.
