New BSIMProPlus Improves SPICE Modeling Flexibility, Productivity and Supports Advanced Models

San Jose, California, July 30, 2008 - ProPlus Design Solutions, Inc. announced that it officially released BSIMProPlus v2008.2 as the first major release in 2008. It made significant enhancements in the advanced flexible extraction flows and environment for the BSIM4.6.1 and PSP 102.2 applications. It also came with many modeling feature improvements, e.g. model upgrade, re-targeting, HCI/NBTI reliability modeling, circuit verification, noise modeling and RF modeling.

The advanced flexible extraction flows and environment allows for users to highly customize and easily automate their extraction flows based not only on the default extraction steps but also the customized ones with the GUI-driven method and/or programming-based method. In particular it works well for the advanced model applications such as PSP and BSIM4 where extraction customization and flexibility becomes necessary in nanometer technologies.
