Grand Opening of the New Office for the ProPlus Beijing R&D Center

San Jose, California, December, 01, 2009 - ProPlus Design Solutions, Inc. announced its grand opening of the new office for the ProPlus Beijing R&D Center. The new office fully operates starting from December 01, 2009.

The ProPlus Beijing R&D Center has been established and been operating since late 2006 as the second R&D Center of the ProPlus Corporate R&D in addition to its core R&D Center in San Jose, USA. It is geographically situated in the Zhongguancun area (Chinese: 中关村) in Beijing, which is well-known in China as "China's Silicon Valley". The new office resides on the 11th floor of the office tower in the new Zhongguanchun Crowne Plaza, a five-star hotel in the heart of the Zhongguancun Area. The brand new office, claimed as a world-class high-tech office, occupies over a 1,000 square meter area equipped with modernized networks & servers, spacious offices & cubicles setup, an advanced Device Characterization Lab and multi-purposes conference facilities.

The second ProPlus R&D Center in Beijing, initially set up in the late 90s in our prior company called BTA Technology Inc., has been growing rapidly since the ProPlus team was separated from Cadence Design Systems Inc. in late 2006.
